The last time I saw Bobby Vinton, was many years ago when I was opening for him in Mystic Lake Casino, in Minnesota. I remember being “blown away” with his super high energy performance. He was dancing on tables, and just gave 1000%!
I wrote about it in my Syndicated, Las Vegas Backstage Talk column in July’s edition of Casino Player Magazine. (See previous post.)

Deana Martin returns in-studio on Las Vegas Backstage Talk Radio Show with Comedian Michele LaFong on 1230AM KLAV in Las Vegas, and The Web. She was also my featured artist in “Getting Personal with The Stars,” my Syndicated Column in Gaming Today.
Deana is an influential American singer, actor and performer and the very proud daughter of iconic entertainer, Dean Martin. As an internationally acclaimed entertainer, hit recording artist and an in-demand performer, playing to sold-out audiences worldwide, Deana has become an instantly recognizable voice and figure in the pantheon of The Great American Songbook. Seeing Deana Martin in a live performance, you get the sense that there is nothing she cannot do. At the South Point, Deana will perform one of her most requested shows, “Deana Sings Dino,” where she sings such hits made famous by her illustrious father as, “Memories Are Made of This,” “That’s Amore,” and “Everybody Loves Somebody,” and many more. Impressionist Louise DuArt guests on Las Vegas Backstage Talk Radio Show with Comedian Michele LaFong on 1230AM KLAV in Las Vegas and The Web.
She began her career on the children’s show, The Krofft Supershow, playing Nashville, a member of the fictional band, Kaptain Kool and the Kongs; she later worked on Krofft’s last kid’s show, The Krofft Superstar Hour, in which Kaptain Kool and the Kongs were replaced with the Bay City Rollers. She remained as a voice. Some of her notable impersonations are Edith Bunker, George Burns, Judge Judy, Joan Rivers, and Barbara Walters. She toured with Harvey Korman and Tim Conway from 2001 through 2005. DuArt now makes appearances on many religious-themed programs and events.
Louise is currently performing with different National Names in “Music, Inspiration, & Comedy”

Paula Poundstone, returns on Las Vegas Backstage Talk Radio Show, with Comedian Michele LaFong, on 1230 am KLAV in Las Vegas and The Web. Michele LaFong also featured Paula in July’s issue “Getting Personal with the Stars,” Feature Column, as well as “Las Vegas Backstage Talk’s” Monthly Syndicated Column, both in Casino Player Magazine.
From discussing her cats, working on the road, or her kids, she’s always engaged, and quick with the come-backs!
Poundstone began nurturing her stand-up comedy talent in 1979 on the Boston comedy scene before moving to San Francisco. She starred in multiple HBO comedy specials and appeared on “Saturday Night Live.” Poundstone received a Cable ACE Award for a comedy special for her one-hour HBO special “Cats, Cops, and Stuff.” She received her second Cable ACE Award for her self-titled HBO talk show series.
Continuing with many successes throughout the 1990s, Poundstone starred in “The Paula Poundstone Show” on ABC and many other television appearances, including an HBO Special. Poundstone is the recipient of an Emmy Award for her field pieces on the PBS program “Life & Times.”

Legendary comedian and impressionist RICH LITTLE is returning to the Las Vegas stage with his one-man show, “Jimmy Stewart & Friends.” Featuring more than 25 celebrity icon voices including Cary Grant, George Burns, Ronald Reagan, Katherine Hepburn and John Wayne, among others, “Jimmy Stewart & Friends” will take you on an adventure through the life of famed actor Jimmy Stewart. A master mimic of more than 200 voices, Little has appeared on TV variety shows starring Ed Sullivan, Jackie Gleason, Glen Campbell and Dean Martin, as well as on series such as “Laugh-In,” “The John Davidson Summer Show” and “The Julie Andrews Show.” Little also had his own variety show in the 70s and was the star of the TV show “KopyKats.” Little was a guest host early on for “The Tonight Show,” hosting 12 times. Heather Marianna guests on Las Vegas Backstage Talk with Comedian Michele LaFong on 1230AM KLAV in Las Vegas, and The Web. Comedian/Actress Wanda Sykes has been seen on several television shows over the past two years. Last year she made a return to HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” starring opposite Larry David. In 2010 she starred in her own late night talk show on FOX, “The Wanda Sykes Show”. In October of 2009 her second HBO stand up special “I’ma Be Me” premiered. It was taped at the Warner theatre in Washington DC where she tackled topics like the first black president, gay cruises, being a new mom and aging. Dave Mason guests on Las Vegas Backstage Talk with Comedian Michele LaFong on 1230AM KLAV in Las Vegas and The Web.
World-renowned Dave Mason joins Scaggs for the tour. An inductee of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Worcester England native begin his career at 18, joining Steve Winwood as a member of Traffic. He went on to a successful and long solo career and is most famous for his widely covered song “We Just Disagree” as well as the classic rock staple “Feelin’ Alright.”
