Bill Maher returns once again to Las Vegas Backstage Talk radio show with Comedian Michele LaFong.
For the last 18 years, Maher has pushed the boundaries of how far political humor and satire can go on American television. First on “Politically Incorrect” (which first aired on Comedy Central before moving to ABC), and for the last seven years on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher,” Maher’s combination of unflinching honesty and scathing humor have garnered him 21 EmmyR nominations. In October 2008, this same combination was on display in Maher’s swipe at organized religion, “Religulous,” which went on to become the seventh-highest grossing documentary ever.
In addition to his television program-which has featured such regular visitors as Ben Affleck, Robin Williams, Arianna Huffington, Alec Baldwin and Michael Moore-Maher has written four bestsellers: “True Story,” “Does Anybody Have a Problem with That? Politically Incorrect’s Greatest Hits,” “When You Ride Alone, You Ride with Bin Laden” and most recently, “New Rules: Polite Musings from a Timid Observer.”

She’s won the American Comedy Award for “Best Female Comedian” and the Phyllis Diller award for “Best Female Comedian.” Although she’s turned down many writing jobs because she enjoys performing more, she has written and produced for Lewis Black’s “Root of all Evil” on Comedy Central and for Gary Shandling’s Emmy monologues. She’s done two USO tours to Iraq and Afganistan with pals Lewis Black, Robin Williams, John Bowman and musicals acts Kid Rock, The Zac Brown Band, Kix Brooks and Kellie Pickler. “There’s no better show on earth than a show for the troops. Trust me, no crowd is as happy to see a show as 1000 soldiers in Kabul. I do USO shows at home here in the US too but the further people are away, the more they appreciate it. I don’t think they get paid enough for a hard job so I like to do something for free when I can.”

Singer – Frank Sinatra Jr.
Born into one of the most talented and loved families in Hollywood history, it is no surprise that Frank Sinatra Jr. was pursuing music by the age of five. By the 1960s, Frank Jr. was performing on his own, living up to the Sinatra name, dazzling audiences wherever he went.
However, his talents did not stop at the doors of the recording studio. From there he went on to appear in movies such as Cool World and Code Name: Zebra, and television shows including the Patty Duke Show, The Sopranos, and the Red Skelton Hour.
By the late 1980’s, Frank Sinatra Jr. was one of the few performers who still toured with a full big-band, preserving his classic style that stood the tests of time. Releasing six albums over the course of his career, his most recent CD, That Face!, was released in 2006.
Now, Frank Jr. is back at it, reviving his father’s hits with a genuine, unmatched Sinatra authenticity and carrying on the family legacy.

Musician – Arturo Sandoval
A protégé of legendary jazz master Dizzy Gillespie, Sandoval hails from Cuba. He began studying classical trumpet at the age of 12 and has since evolved into one of the world’s most leading jazz artists. In 1973, Sandoval was a founding member of the Grammy® Award-winning group Irakere, whose explosive mixture of jazz, classical, rock and traditional Cuban music caused a musical sensation.
Sandoval has received 12 Grammy® Award nominations and has won six times – including a win for “Best Instrumental Album” for “Time For Love” in 2010. He has also received six Billboard Awards and one Emmy® Award, the latter for his composing work on the underscore of the HBO movie based on his life, “For Love or Country,” that was released in 2000.
Earlier this year, Sandoval released two albums, “Tango – Como Yo Te Siento” and “Dear Diz, Every Day I Think of You,” a tribute to Dizzy Gillespie.
